This place is probably my top 3 favorite places to eat. Food is amazing and service is awsome. Very friendly customer service, open 24 hours. I would recommend this to anyone who loves American-Colombian-Mexican food.

The review is based on delivery only. They deliver late so thats a plus. Food is decent nothing to rave about. Just like any other typical colombian restaurant.

I was excited that a new spot opened up but after giving this place 5 tries, I came to the conclusion that Blue Cafe should be avoided at ALL costs.
Service is unattentive. Every time we walked into the place, we were never greeted. We usually just proceeded to take seats ourselves.
The food.. Oh gosh. Where do I even begin. You'd think they'd at least get the Latin food right. Nope. The empanadas were underwhelmed. Chicharron was okay but everything else was tasteless. My meal came with homefries that were not at the right temperature. They looked unappetizing. My husband took a bite of them and could not even continue. And he LOVES potatoes. They tasted as if the cook just put them in a microwave to heat them up. The only good thing they got going is the juice. But how can you mess up juices?
Do yourself a big favor and do not come here. Make the short trip to Pollo Mario if you must have a Colombian breakfast. I would not recommend this place for anything. Certainly not their service nor their food. -

Brand new diner spot located on the corner of Elmhurst Avenue and Broadway! They took over the La Gata Golosa Bakery spot with a similar menu with American and Spanish dishes and delicious pastries such as the buñuelo and empanadas. Locals are very delighted and receptive of them from what I observed. My companion and I had a quick breakfast here just before noon. The staff was welcoming. They acknowledge that they are not perfect because it is their first day and they want to learn to make it better, that's cool with me.
I got the Chicken Empanada and the buñuelo. To my biggest surprise, the chicken empanada was really good! It was yellow corn flour with ground chicken on the inside. The chicken meat was fresh and the corn flour was crispy on the outside. I am a fan! It didn't come with any sauce, otherwise, it would be even better.
Buñuelo was so fluffy on the inside. It was not oily or greasy at all from what I experienced from other places. It goes great with coffee.
Not bad for a grand opening day and I look forward to come back since I live nearby! -

I ordered a coffee and cheesecake just for a snack but the sugar in the coffee isn't even dissolved and the cheesecake just wasn't all that pleasant
